The challenge
Bloom was launching a new skincare line with a limited budget and no performance history. Early ads boosted random posts with no structure, so there was nothing to learn from and no way to know what was working.
What we did
- Set up the data correctly — Pixel, Conversions API and event matching, so the algorithm had clean signals to optimise on from day one.
- Ran a structured creative test — a matrix of hooks (ingredient, before/after, routine), formats (reels, static, carousel) and audiences, judged against a clear cost-per-lead target.
- Built a retargeting ladder — sequenced follow-up ads for video viewers, add-to-carts and site visitors who didn't buy.
- Scaled only the winners — concentrating budget on the two or three creatives that consistently beat the target.
The results
Within two months, cost per lead dropped 54%, add-to-cart rate rose 140%, and the account hit a 4.6x ROAS — a profitable launch built on a repeatable system, not luck.
